In this course you will learn the building blocks of electronics. We will cover the verbiage associated with basic circuitry, electronic hardware, and an entry point to designing your own circuitry. The goal of this course is to prepare you for leading a class of 10 through iterative electronics project safely, and most importantly informed!

Make It, Robots Jr! (3PDH's Included)

This course will introduce students to circuits and basic robots as they use various electronic components including 2 motors in a frame/chassis connected to a power source by a wired controller with two buttons to create a controllable vehicle. Students will be able to express themselves through a combination of engineering and art while learning many new skills; from circuits and electronics to design thinking and problem solving. Students can then carry that understanding into the creation of additional projects and activities.

Make It, Wearable Electronics! (3PDH's Included)

This course will introduce students to circuits as they use various electronic components combined with textiles to assist in the creation/modification of smart clothes. Students will be able to express themselves through a combination of engineering and art while learning many new skills; from sewing and making to electronics. This course will give students a basic understanding of soft circuits through a project. Students can then carry that understanding into the creation of additional projects and activities.
